Vaccinations

The DEFRA code of practice for the welfare of dogs requires that a current vaccination certificate must accompany every boarder on the day of their arrival; any boarder without a vaccination certificate will be refused boarding.

Kennel Cough (Bordetella bronchiseptica) is a mandatory vaccination. If one of our doggie guests arrives with a missed or out of date one then unfortunately they will have to go into isolation to protect our other doggie guests. However, clearance has to be given prior to drop off as we may no longer have space in the isolation kennel as there may already be a dog isolating in there. If the isolation kennel is not available then your dog will not be able to stay with us. Kennel cough vaccinations must be administered at least 14 days before your dog is due to board with us.

Please make sure that all boarders have been wormed and treated for fleas on a regular basis. Any boarder found to have worms or fleas will be treated with an appropriate vet approved treatment and the additional cost added to the boarding fee. Please contact us if you are unsure about anything. Or you could contact your veterinary surgeon.
